All\n public sector banks use CWE as a base to fill the vacancies for this \npost.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">IBPS is conducting Clerk exam for the 9th year now and hence named <strong>IBPS Clerk CWE IX<\/strong>.\n The IBPS Clerk CWE exam is conducted on two levels- preliminary exam \nand mains. No complaints will be \nentertained by IBPS in regards to change in the exam centre.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"pattern\">IBPS Clerk 2019 Recruitment<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The recruitment process of IBPS Clerk CWE occurs in two phases:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">1. Preliminary Examination<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">2. Mains Examination<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Students are required to qualify both these exams to get \nselected for the post of clerical cadre in most of the premier Public \nSector Banks. The main thing to note here is that there is <strong>no interview process required<\/strong> for the selection of candidate after the mains exam. 100% weightage is given to the result of mains exam result.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">IBPS Clerk Exam Pattern<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The IBPS Clerk exam occurs in two stages: Prelims and \nMains. Both these papers follow online method of conducting written \nexamination. The structure of the exam is as follow:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Phase-1: IBPS Clerk Preliminary Examination<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The preliminary exam of IBPS Clerk CWE is an online exam \ntesting a candidate on the basis of their aptitude, intellect and \nEnglish. Adequate \nnumber of candidates in each category as decided by IBPS depending upon \nrequirements will be shortlisted for Online Main Examination.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Phase-2: IBPS Clerk Mains Examination<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Major changes have been observed in the Exam Pattern of IBPS Clerk 2019 Exam. <strong>IBPS Clerk Mains Exam will now constitute of 190 questions<\/strong> that needs to be completed in a time frame of <strong>160 minutes<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Previously, <strong>Computer Aptitude and Reasoning Ability<\/strong> Section\n used to be conducted separately. But, in the recent update by IBPS, \nboth these sections are amalgamated together and will constitute of <strong>50 questions<\/strong> that needs to be solved in a time duration of <strong>45 minutes<\/strong>.\n Both Preliminary Exam and Mains Exam will be conducted bilingually, \ni.e. both in English and in Hindi. A wrong answer to \nan objective question will lead to a penalty of one-fourth of the total \nmark assigned to that question. There will be no penalty for the \nquestion left blank or unanswered.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Final Score Calculation for IBPS Clerk Exam:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The final score for the IBPS Clerk exam is calculated keeping the following points in mind:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"> \u2022 Marks obtained in the Preliminary Exam (Phase-1) will not be considered for final selection. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"> \u2022 Candidates must qualify Phase-2 to be eligible for final merit.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"> \u2022 The aggregate score out of 100 is used \nfor the final merit list for each category.Candidates with top merit \nrank in each category are finally selected. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">IBPS Clerk 2019 Syllabus<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The major three sections of the preliminary examination \nare Reasoning, English Language and Numerical Ability.
