IAS (Civil Services) exam is a nationwide competitive examination conducted by UPSC for the recruitment of various services like IAS, IFS, IPS and more. Indian Administrative Service (IAS) is one of the toughest and higher level jobs that the candidates are considering it as their life goal. IAS Exam Eligibility Criteria
Before applying for IAS civil services examination you must review the eligibility criteria. These are below:

Nationality:
- Citizenship of India required.
- Citizen of Nepal or Subject of Bhutan required.
- Must be Tibetan Refugee who migrated India to settle permanently before January 01, 1962.
- Person of Indian origin who migrated from Myanmar, Sri Lanka, Pakistan, Malawi, Kenya, Ethiopia, Tanzania, Zambia, Uganda, Vietnam and Zaire.

Educational Qualification:

- The candidates must have a bachelor degree from a govt recognized university.
- The professional and technical qualification of a candidate should be recognized by the government.
- The students who are waiting for final results can also apply. The result will be submitted while filling the application for mains exam.

Age Limit: To qualify for IAS exam, the candidate should have minimum 21 years and maximum 32 years old age.

Application Form Procedure
The application form submission procedure has been changed in few previous years. The candidates will only submit the form in online mode. To submit the application no other mode will be permitted. Candidates can apply for the UPSC IAS online form on its official website https://upsconline.nic.in/.
Admit Card
You can download the admit card for civil services (IAS) prelims exams on its official website. The admit card has been issued. The candidates who have done the successful registration of online application form without any discrepancy will be able to get the instant link for admit card by logging in. The prelims examination will be conducted on 3rd June 2018. Once the admit card notification is released, candidates can collect their admit card from official website.
IAS Exam Pattern
Below is the exam pattern for UPSC IAS (prelims and mains).
- IAS Prelims Exam: The UPSC Civil services or IAS prelims exam pattern is divided into two compulsory papers with total 400 Marks. Check below:

- IAS Mains Exam (2075 Marks): The candidates who have qualified Prelims exam will be called to attend the Mains Exam. The main exam is total of 2075 marks, on the basis of the secured marks interview process will be scheduled. At the end, the main exam and interview marks are sum up to finalize the resulting phase.
